Creative Ventures
Outside of my professional work, I dedicate time to exploring creative hobbies and interests that fuel my imagination, growth, and wellbeing. Whether it is through movement, crafting, or photography, these passions not only bring me joy but also teach me valuable skills that enhance my approach to design and storytelling. A few of these projects can be found below.
Creative
Crochet & Embroidery
Creating something from scratch with my hands is something I love doing. To see a project develop with each new stitch is intriguing. Additionally, it helps me develop patience, precision and an eye for detail, which translate into many aspects of my work.
Photography
Capturing moments and perspectives that might spark wonder and curiosity, whether this is beautiful lighting or a look, turning everyday scenes into something intriguin. It also helps me refine my sense of composition, lighting, and visual storytelling.
Movement
Dance, choreography & performance
My love for dancing developed from a young age and throughout the years I’ve explored a variety of styles. I recently had the opportunity to fill in as theater teacher during the Windkracht Festival 2025, where I oversaw 11 theater performances, made the stage light settings for four amateur theatergroups and acted as a director. This furthered my understanding of storytelling and creating experiences through light, people, and performance.
Creating choreographies, directing musicals, and performing on stage during competitions or musicals helps me develop an understanding of flow, dynamics, spatial awareness and storytelling through movement, light, and people, all of which enrich my creative perspective.
