In Short

Naut was developed as part of a course on multi-stakeholder perspectives in design, addressing the frustration Dutch youth experience while waiting for healthcare. Our team designed Naut—a multimedia astronaut available both on-screen and as a plush companion. Naut serves as a comforting guide, helping children navigate the uncertainty of waiting by exploring “bright spots” in the galaxy. These bright spots represent key steps in the healthcare process, revealed through games, stories, and videos designed to offer support and hope.
